Five scheduled showings of the documentary, Bulls**t<\/i>, highlighting Dr. Vandana Shiva’s campaigns against globalization and genetic engineering, her organization’s organic seed-saving farm in the Himalayan foothills, and right wing campaigns to try to discredit her. 1 \u2013 4 PM:<\/b> Community gathering in Blackstone Park (Washington and W. Newton Sts., 5 blocks east of Mass. Ave.), with festivities, and a panel of speakers on the proposed B.U. bioweapons facility planned for the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

5 PM:<\/b> Premiere screenplay reading of The Donors<\/i>, a science fiction thriller set in 2030. A feisty teenage clone battles a transnational corporation that plans to sell off her organs; she joins with activists and her biological family to try to save the lives of “donor” children.
